I am associate professor at the Department of Philosophy and Sociology, Jaume I University (Castelló, Spain). I am interested in diverse topics related to rural studies. I’ve been working on ‘new rurality’, on participation policies for rural youth or rural community-based accommodation for new-comers. Also on communication factors: on digital divide on rural spaces and the potential of smart villages to attract youth to the rural areas; or on (lack of) mobility services for remote areas. I have experience in sociology and mixed-methods research in the field of digital divide, youth studies (urban and rural) or tourism development.
Head of Digital Divide and Territory Chair.
